Rehearsals will take place on weekday evenings\, twice a week. \nAbout the play\n“I don’t normally off-load on strangers. It’s just been a really bad morning.” \nIn a children’s soft play that has seen better days\, two strangers strike up conversation. Cora and John have a lot in common – young kids\, relationships that have ended messily\, a love of The Shawshank Redemption. In between interruptions from children\, a grumpy waitress and hoity-toity mothers\, the pair hit it off. But is John all that he claims to be? \nIt’s Complicated is a funny\, heartwarming story about life’s beautiful messiness. \nPerformances\nFriday 21 to Sunday 23 June 2024 at the Black Swan pub in York.
