Hello everyone, it’s time that you met Sam Taylor, the director of our Winter/Spring 2019 production of ‘The Duchess of Malfi’

Sam is a reasonably recent York resident. He trained at LAMDA, spent the 2013 season at the Royal Shakespeare Company, 2 seasons at The National, and was part of the company of Edinburgh Fringe First Award winners for “Mile End” in 2007. And if you caught last year’s YSCP production of “Uncle Vanya” you will have seen him read in on the book during the final show.

You can read an interview with Sam and hear more about his plans for ‘The Duchess’ in the York Press
