Calling all playwrights! We’re delighted to announce that our script window for Direct Approach 2025 is now open!
We’re seeking 30-40 minute new plays with 4-5 characters to stage in an informal and intimate space at a pub in York in 2025.
Topics explored in past Direct Approach plays have ranged from dystopian futures to homicidal dog walkers, so it’s a very open brief. But keep in mind these plays will be staged by a new director in a small venue on a small budget and with minimal set.
